Fabcon was engaged to undertake the full engineering & certification of the structure as well as steel supply & erection.
The gantry structure was required to support over 500T of prefabricated modular buildings with 3 fire access stairs.
Working with the client from early engineering design stages right through to completion allowed for a very thorough project.
The stairs & balustrade were custom designed by Fabcon and proved to be an excellent design for rigidity & billability.
The stairs had to be installed post modular building installation which meant building them in situ and installing with a mini crawler crane.
